I would save all three logos as vector files. This is because both save as vector files. Vector graphics use mathematic equations to store the data. They will stay as perfect quality no matter how far you zoom in, meaning that they are perfect for printing as it is easy to resize with no change in quality.
I could save it in many ways for different reasons.
I would save these logos as a JPEG, when sending the logos via email to the client as it helps to make an image smaller
to email, JPEG is also able to open on many different platforms. The logos would only be sent as a JPEG as a draft to show the client what the rough look of the logo currently is in order to get feedback.
I would also save the logo as a PNG,as a PNG is a platform-independent format. It supports high-level lossless
compression and transparency. This is used when creating
logos for websites with transparent backgrounds.
I would save it as a PSD in order to be able to change the logo, but this is only while the client still isn't happy with the final look, as soon as the logo is finished I would save it as a Photoshop EPS file. This is because it is then saved as a vector file.
This is the final look of all three of my music station logos for Ow! Music: MIXX; SHRED; VIP.
